At Rentheria we value your privacy. This Policy explains what personal data we process, for what purposes, and your rights —both on this website (rentheria.com) and across the software and messaging services we operate, including our WhatsApp integration.
1. Data controller
Rentheria (Alejandro Rentheria), a software development studio based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, is responsible for processing the personal data described in this Policy. For any privacy matter, write to us at privacidad@rentheria.com.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to: (a) your browsing on rentheria.com and (b) the scheduling and notification services that Rentheria builds and operates on behalf of its clients (for example, clinics), including sending WhatsApp messages through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.
3. Data we process
From the website: minimal technical browsing data (such as language and preferences) and, if you contact us, the name and contact details you provide. From the scheduling and messaging services: name, phone number, and appointment details (service, date, and time) of people who book with our clients. We do not request sensitive data through these messages.
4. How we use the data
We use the data to respond to your contact messages; to confirm, remind, and manage appointments; to send WhatsApp and email notifications related to those appointments; and to operate, maintain, and improve our services. We only send messages to people who booked an appointment or provided their information for that purpose.
5. Third parties and processors
To provide the service we share data, as needed, with providers acting as processors: • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform): sending and receiving messages. • Google (Calendar and Wallet): scheduling and appointment passes. • Resend: email delivery. • Infrastructure and hosting providers. Each provider processes data under its own policies. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We keep data only for as long as necessary for the described purposes or while a relationship with the relevant clinic exists; afterwards we delete or anonymize it, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encryption of sensitive data at rest, and access controls. No system is completely infallible, but we work to reduce risks.
8. Your rights (ARCO)
Under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), you may exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Objection (ARCO), and withdraw your consent. To exercise them, write to us at privacidad@rentheria.com with your request.
9. Minors
Our services are not directed to minors. If a minor books through a clinic, it is up to their parent or guardian to authorize the processing of their data.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We will post the current version on this page, with its last-updated date. Significant changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
